This is the latest fall hike I have ever done. We biked into Jenny lake from the Bradly/Targart lake trailhead parking area and hiked from there. Roundtrip, it was about 18.4 miles and we ended with a chilly dip in Jenny lake. The goal was to swim in Solitude but we didn't count on it being frozen over. Saw no one all day. The bike ride back to the car was not sweet, freezing ice needle rain and wind, but all worth it.
